Chicago-area Catholic School to Suggest a One-Game Reduction in Illinois High School Football Regular Season

Here's a story from WQAD-TV in the Quad Cities that looks an upcoming proposal from Marian Catholic High School that suggests reducing Illinois' regular season from nine games to eight, plus increase the number of teams that make the playoffs from 256 to 512.

New Trier Names New Head Football Coach

New Trier High School has hired Dan Starkey as its new head football coach.

The Chicago Sun-Times reports that Starkey takes over the Trevians after back-to-back 9-3 seasons as the head coach at Glenbard South.
