For those of you who don't know who Bob Sakamoto is, let me tell you. Bob's is a reporter at the Chicago Tribune and is one of the best at covering high school sports!! The Lane Tech and Northwestern University grad really knows his stuff, and I like his honesty when it comes to rankings.
After Week 1, the biggest change from Sako's Top 20 pre-season poll was Glenbard North's 28-21 loss to Bartlett, which dropped the Panthers from #2 to #13, while Bartlett enters the polll at #12. Another dropper was Fremd from #8 to #19 after a 33-21 loss to 2007 7A champ Lake Zurich. LZ jumps into the poll at #11.
