After back-to-back losses in the state semifinals, Prairie Ridge broke-though Saturday with a 35-14 win over Richwoods to capture the school's first-ever state football championship.

Prairie Ridge captured the 6A crown behind Jordan Getzelman, who rushed for 175 yards.  The Wolves' defense was also stellar, holding Kendrick Foster to 59 yards rushing.  Foster ended the season with 2,411 yards rushing.
